The City of Wayne is divided into four wards as set by the City Council. These wards are based on total population figures from the 2000 census.
First Ward is located in the southeast corner of the city.
Second Ward is located in the northeast corner of the city. It includes Berry, Morey, and Terrace Halls at Wayne State College.
Third Ward is located in the northwest corner of the city. It includes Anderson, Bowen, Connell, Pile and Neihardt Halls at Wayne State College.
Fourth Ward is located in the southwest corner of the city.
