When is the Courthouse open? The Courthouse is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm,Monday through Friday. Some offices are closed over the noon hour so please call ahead.

When are the drivers license examiners at the Courthouse? Drivers examiners are in the Wayne County Courthouse on Wednesdays only from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm. The office is closed from noon to 1:00 pm. The direct phone number for the examiners is 402-375-7009.

I would like some filing information on a piece of property but I only have a street address. Who do I call? With only a street address, call the Wayne County Treasurer's Office first, 402-375-3885, to get a legal description. They will then transfer you to the Wayne County Register of Deeds and they will search for your information.

How do I get on the agenda to speak with the Commissioners? Wayne County Commissioners meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Call the Wayne County Clerk's Office, 402-375-2288, to be put on the agenda.
